Click for Bigger Version, so we're approaching Hogmany, and I thought I'd log the year in terms of photos from each month. It has been a crazy year. If I had to say something about this year that sums it up, it would have to be "The Year where Maths was a Slag". Anyway, review of the year:January: That's Louise in the photo, with the amusing hippie jumper we found in the Art Department and an Onion that my art teacher was forcing me to draw. Can't really remember this month, it was probably okay. Was stressing out for the upcoming prelims though.
February: Crazy Month. Sat the Prelims and got pretty much C's all round. We walked into Art one day to be confronted by a scary drawing, which will forever be known as the "Hiya Boys" drawing. It spawned many parody drawings. Art was continuing to get crazier, and our art teacher was continuing to be very entertaining, as he is cool. Mutilations of the Dinosaur Continued.
March: Cat's House Party. It was Awesome. On the 14th, Jemma, Esme and I dressed up as the Scooby Doo gang and walked around the racetrack. James should have been there as Fred. He wasn't. We were angry. Easter School at the end of the month. Made significant improvements on my Still Life Unit for Art. Easter School was good. We listened to Barry-Oke on the radio, and they kept playing The Script. A Bird got into the Art Classroom, he was called Simon. We got our picture taken with Mrs Horton. We went to Agnew Park and got our boat stuck on the Fountain. Jemma fell in the Water. Initiated a Pirate-esque fight against small children.
April: Studies were beginning to drive me insane. Was finally improving at Maths, but it was still killing me. Exams were approaching. Went to Ayr. Jemma bought a Ukelele called Liz. Kirsty and I went for a walk. It was really really nice but it started out sunny and clouded over. That wasn't too great, but it was fun. We found some Swans. We went into the Gardens, it was great. Finished the Mural downstairs in C block. Finished my Art Coursework, but it was still too crud to get a good grade.
May: Exams. I was enraged and annoyed and crazy. Maths turned out okay in the end, but the exam was very hard. Last Day of 5th year which was sad. No more Mr McLean :(. Study Leave, wasn't great weather if I remember correctly so it was quite crud.
June: Began 6th year. General consensus is that 6th year is nowhere near as good as 5th year. This opinion is still true at the moment. 6th year sucks. Crashed Higher Chemistry. It's going not great, but not as disastrous as Maths in the previous months. Jemma had a barbequeue. We were terrorised by a Scantily Clad man with a Ladder. The food was really nice. James came out of his hole and appeared at this event. We made People Pyramids.
July: Summer Holidays! Went to Tigh Na Mara for a meal in Sandhead. It was really nice. Restaurant was full of lookalikes. Went ******-Stalking after it. Results were unsuccessful. Went to Park, took crazy Photos. Wandered around. Was good. Got a little bit more work at the Gardens but not much. Summer's weather was not great this year. Did a hell of a lot of Cycling this month, but I gradually gave it up because my bike is a really nasty slag.
August: Weather was awful. Pumpkins wouldn't pollinate because of all the rain. I gave up hope on them. Was called into the Gardens once in a blue moon. There was lots of Midges. Above photo is my view from the Toastie Machine at work. Awesome. Returned to School near the end of the month. Was Catherine's Birthday and I went round to her house. We had loadsa fun.
September: Tom's House, his birthday was at the end of August. He got a car called Betsy. I Mixed Alcohol with Warm Weather and Running around and got a Migraine. An EVIL Migraine. Was Back at School, but was still too Lethargic and Exhausted after the exams to do much. Went to Edinburgh's Open Day. Continued to dislike 6th year. Told Mr Smart that "Ln" is pronounced "Lin" and not "Lon". Lon is WRONG. Started Uni Application Crap. No More Gardens Shifts I don't think.
October: I Can remember this Month quite well. Was running up to Halloween. Went to Jemma's for a Halloween Bake-Off-Carve-a-Thon. We decorated lots of cakes for the Cake Day the following day. Baked Pumpkin Muffins. Carved Pumpkins. Mine was manky and diseased. We ate Pizza and discussed Dr Oetker's FRAUDULENT Title. There was a Pink Day the next day at School. I hate Pink so I didn't wear any, but gave money. Jemma turned out to be the queen of Tupperware. It was Hannah's Birthday. I set her present (Chocolate and a CD) on a radiator and the Chocolate melted. SEASON 5 OF DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES PREMIERED. It was amazing. Went for a walk with Kirsty. The Gardens were REALLY flooded. A Tree had smashed into one of the potting sheds. I love going on walks with Kirkee.
November: Month of my Birth. Got Awesome presents. Got a nice coat. Was Children In Need at school. Jemma, Hannah and I couldn't be arsed joining in the festivites. We Played Wii Boxing with kids. It was fun. Went for a walk on the 21st last period on Friday. It was VERY windy and Jemma and I took lots of funny photos of us with our hair blowing about everywhere. We went to the park. It was really nice weather, even if it was cold and windy :), was like Winter. Began not eating lunch at school to save my lunch money in order to buy christmas presents.
December: Run up to Christmas. Christmas Fayre was a success, and my friends helped out. It was really fun. James and Emily were my bouncers. There was an annoying child who kept coming in and stealing stuff off our bring and buy stall. Same night we went for a meal at the Craignelder. It was great. I was stuffed. The Sna'Ba' as well. I didn't enjoy it very much, but we went to SuperDave's afterwards and it was fun. James started getting crazy. Finished my Christmas Shopping in spite of money troubles. Was getting increasingly stressed. Stopped Stalking people. And then of course Christmas
It was an Okay year, filled with events, how about yours?
